Concept & Vibe: "Magnetic Vibes Up High.” I have loved Aura since they opened. 5 stories high above the JW Marriott Hotel, Aura is a chic rooftop lounge inspired by the aura of the Queen City. Perfect for cocktails and small plates gazing and appreciating the sunset.

Food & Drink: Botanical-inspired cocktails, small plates, hand rolls & desserts. They also have a few “free-spirited” options

Concept & Vibe: “Winemaker’s restaurant” delivering wine-country inspired cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on their sustainable tap system. Picture yourself in Napa, this is where Sixty Vines takes you. Also love their adorable outdoor patio and seating. Always a vibe here!

Food & Drink: Wine is the star of the show with the BYO wine flight which is my favorite aspect of the restaurant, but they also serve incredible hand-crafted cocktails and mocktails. The menu is set up for sharing and enjoying with friends. Great for celebrations!

Coquette

Location: 400 S Tryon St. #101 (Uptown)

Concept & Vibe: The idea came about to open a restaurant like Coquette when the owner spent her junior year abroad in Brittany, France. Picture getting invited into a quaint French home with real food, no foam or small portions, but plenty of butter. The small intentional details of the restaurant are my favorite!

Food & Drink: You will find charcuterie and fromage, raw bar, tartines, small plates, and dishes for the table to share. Alongside a curated selection of French wines.

Foxcroft Wine Co.

Concept & Vibe: Started in 2004, Foxcroft is a Charlotte staple for wine lovers. The concept is simple. Good food paired with good wine. I really enjoy the Waverly location and patio. Each location has its own flare and personality!

Food & Drink: The wine list is extremely unique and versatile, ask the seasoned staff to help you pick a wine that you love! They take their craft very seriously. They offer plates to share, housemade pasta, signature dishes and sweets. The menu is chef-driven and utilizes extremely fresh ingredients.

They have the main dining room, the more intimate Bar at Supperland, a vibrant southern garden, and a Speakeasy below the bar. The vibe is enchanting, feminine and whimsical. Out of a storybook!
