Monroe
Sorella Coffee – An adorable cozy cafe founded by 2 sisters with a love for quality coffee! The seasonal lattes are so unique and always super instagrammable!
Alice Jules Coffeehouse – A charming coffeehouse offering house-brewed coffee in a space where everyone feels like family. This is truly your home away from home.
High Octane Coffee – A unique shop featuring Colombian coffee, Chemex brewing, and a delicious breakfast menu!
Concord
Verb Coffee – Probably one of the best avocado toasts you will find in Charlotte. Made with local bread, local goat cheese and local microgreens. This coffee shop is all about quality, supporting local, craftsmanship and small town local vibes.
Percantile & Creamery – This coffee shop has all the spunk and sass! Come enjoy a delicious latte or maybe even some local pastries paired with icecream. There are no rules here!
Provided Coffee - One of the largest coffee shops in the state, this local gem is very well known in the community! Enjoy handcrafted espresso, lattes made with love and check out some vintage clothing while you’re there!
Uptown Charlotte
Community Matters - CM has a very very special place in my heart because of their mission and reason for existing. Read more about how they give back to the community on their website, but just know that it runs deep. They also have a top notch breakfast and lunch menu- Chef Chayil Johnson was actually just nominated for a James Beard this year. Without a doubt a must add to the top of your list!
Not Just Coffee – NJC will always be a staple in Charlotte- with many locations around the city, they are one of the OG coffee brands and you will know why they stuck around once trying their coffee.
Coco and the Director– This used to be my spot when I worked in corporate across the street! Totally the perfect space to catch a meeting with a co-worker or have a brainstorming session to get inspired for a creative idea! Also, don’t leave without trying a mouthwatering Cronut made locally.
South End
Not Just Coffee Atherton – This location just so happens to be my favorite location of them all located in Atherton Mill! The space is just awesome! I find myself always poppin in to get a bit of work done and enjoying a fresh pastry or cookie.
Roots Cafe – This rustic, earthy cafe will forever be a favorite of mine! Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, locally-sourced lunch or an incredible brunch & mimosa combo on the weekend!
Babaloo – A new addition to the neighborhood this year, this trendy shop serves up globally inspired menu items like the Greek Freddo Cappucinno & Colombian Pandebonos.

Plaza Midwood
The Giddy Goat Coffee Roasters – This coffee shop is as local as it gets. I love their mission and the people working at this shop. They are also very intentional about the recyclable and compostable products they use which I believe every coffee shop should take note from. Do not leave without trying one of the house-made empanadas! I dream about them.
Undercurrent Coffee – A local favorite in Plaza for the exceptionally crafted coffee. This team does it the right way. A forever favorite coffee shop of mine when I want to meet a friend or do some journaling/reading.
Haraz Coffee House – A huge hit in the neighborhood, Haraz sources their beans from the Haraz Mountains in the country of Yemen. Their coffee and teas are truly an experience along with their pastries which are baked locally from a pastry chef who is originally from Yemen.
SouthPark
Chez Marie: No trip to SouthPark is complete without a trip to Chez Marie. A quaint French-inspired patisserie serving coffee, espresso, house-made French pastry along with an intentional breakfast and lunch menu. Everything is made in house and made with ingredients that the team is extremely proud of. Also everyone loves the Blue Matcha Latte pictured above!
Copain: If you know me, you know I stop by Copain at least once a week for a loaf of organic sourdough bread or an almond croissant. This restaurant group, NF&P, ensures all of their concepts focus on the highest quality ingredients possibly. Seasonal Salads, Chicken Salad sandwiches, Macarons, Croissants… this gem has it all.
Renaissance Patisserie: Locally owned by a family bringing their French heritage to Charlotte, you will absolutely love your visit to this French patisserie. Tucked away in the back of a shopping center, it feels like a little escape. The front patio in the summertime is a little slice of heaven. Enjoy expertly made viennoisierre, boulangerie, and patisserie.
